In SAS^® 9.4, the SAS^® Deployment Wizard's Load Content step fails when both of the following actions occur:

• The SAS Deployment Agent is configured to generate secure credentials.

• The SAS^® Web Application server is configured to use HTTPS protocol.

Follow these steps (which includes applying the hot fix) to resolve this issue:

1. Use the SAS Deployment Wizard to install (but not configure) the software.
2. Click the Hot Fix tab in this note and apply the hot fix for this issue.

   Note: Do NOT apply the hot fix before you install the software in step 1.

3. Rerun the deployment wizard, and this time run the configuration step.

Note: In the event that you do perform both the installation and the configuration in the step 1 above, you need to do the following:

1. Stop the configuration.
2. Apply the hot fix.
3. Clean up the failured configuration.
4. Rerun the configuration step in the SAS Deployment Wizard.
